5 stars for a great experience, beautiful ambiance and delicious food!! We made a reservation (highly recommended) and really enjoyed our dinner! It's very authentic and very healthy/fresh. We started with the chips salsa and queso and it was probably the best I've ever had. Truly truly delicious!! We also ordered the shrimp tacos, and alambre de res for our entrees, and both were delicious! For dessert we had churros which was pretty good too, but the churros were cold. I was really hoping for hot churros to partner with the icecream, so I probably wouldn't order this again. Overall with everything else I rate this 5/5!!

I found out the story of this place is that a artist's family had opened up their gallery for us to come and visit so I paid particular to the Mexican and Central American artwork on the walls. It's gorgeous pieces depicting life, well-known people, and legends. I was walked to my seat which I thought would be in some corner but I was sat at a booth meant for 4 in the center of the place and I was fine with that. I really had planned to get the Tlayuda (Oaxacan Tostada, Barbacoa Beef, Chipotle Black Beans, Chorizo, Mexican Sour Cream, and Pickled Onions) but decided to get the Pollo Poblano instead (Roasted Chicken Breast with Poblano Cream Sauce, served with Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potatoes, and Oyster Mushrooms) . Doesn't that sound amazing? I swear it took like maybe 10 mins before my server had it in front of me. There was no single item that topped any other however I thought the addition of the brussels sprouts and the oyster mushrooms didn't really go with the theming. A quick Googling says the mushrooms are from the other side of the world, same with the sprouts, but I'm not the culinary police and I was there for the flavors. The chicken was moist and tender and the poblano sauce went better with the sweet potatoes than the chicken in my opinion. What a great meal.

Piñata cake! Need I say more?! This restaurant is right on the water with the perfect view of the world showcase. It's direction wasn't affected by the setting sun which is a win because the windows were huge. The tables & booths are set up in a platform formation so everybody has a great view of the water. I sat in a round both with 2 others very comfortably. I'm a larger girl, so I was glad they had space for my size. Everything was cooked to perfection & even the kids meal was large & delicious. We got multiple margaritas. None were too sweet or full of fluff. It was expertly concocted & went down smoothly. We also got the tequila flight. It came with an orange wedge and crickets. We've never had crickets. They were nutty and didn't really look like a bug (in case you're afraid of bugs). My kiddo tried one & liked it too. Finally.. the cake! For the 50th anniversary of WDW they have a chocolate shell pyramid that you hit with a spoon. It then opens to a delectable, rich, ooey, gooey chocolate & tres leches cake with icecream. It was so impressive that it received a few oos & aws on the way to our table. The service was exceptional as you expect at Disney. It's pricey, but worth the cost for the ambiance & food quality alone!

As a first time guest that has a very good pallet I definitely 100% recommend if your in Epcot to make reservations here!!! This was the first time in a very long time that I go out to eat and EVERYTHING was delicious fresh and hot!! The server Eva was super nice and accommodating with my crying baby! We ordered guacamole with tortillas let me start with saying that the tortillas were warm and freshly cooked. Also ordered calamari as an appetizer it was fried to perfection with an amazing hint of lime taste perfect seasoning it was the best calamari I've ever had. I ordered the cumber margarita It really wasn't my type of flavor but it was good and very strong but not in a bad way strong. Then for dinner I ordered a meal but then my husband seen a seafood platter canceled my meal and ordered a seafood platter for me because he knows I love seafood. Can I just say everything tasted so great if they have some in-house sauce that they put on top of the corn that was to die for I've never had it before and it was just so good. The shrimp and fish were cooked perfectly my husband love the scallops and saying how well they were cooks everything was perfectly cut I cannot go on and off about this place I will definitely be eating here if I ever go back!!! If I could give Ava and La Hacienda 50 stars I would!!!!

I’m running late for my reservation. What do I do? 

Guests can notify us of any delays in their arrival using the My Disney Experience App. This allows us to accommodate their reservation better and ensure a smooth experience.

Can I ask for a window seat for the fireworks? 

We will do our best to fulfill all requests, but availability will be determined on a first-come, first-serve basis.
